In August 2015, J&R provided the JR330-SC Emergency Intercom solution for an Indian highway project, delivering a reliable emergency communication system for highway users and road management teams. By integrating solar power supply and wireless communication technology, the solution enables efficient communication deployment without the need for extensive cabling infrastructure.
Flexible Deployment with Wireless Communication Technology
Designed for highway environments, the JR330-SC solar-powered emergency telephone can be installed in roadside areas, remote sections, and locations where traditional power and communication networks are difficult to access. The wireless communication design significantly reduces installation complexity and construction costs while improving deployment flexibility. With remote configuration and management capabilities, the system allows highway operators to efficiently maintain and manage emergency communication points. In the event of vehicle breakdowns, traffic accidents, or other emergencies, road users can quickly establish communication with highway management centers or emergency response teams through the emergency call function, helping improve response efficiency and road safety.
The JR330-SC features a rugged cold-rolled steel housing designed for demanding outdoor environments. With IP65 waterproof protection and IK10 impact resistance, the device provides strong protection against rain, dust, and external impact. Advanced noise reduction technology ensures clear and stable voice communication even in high-noise roadside environments. The equipment also incorporates corrosion-resistant components and supports a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to 65°C, enabling reliable operation under harsh weather conditions and long-term outdoor deployment.
